The following review provides an overview of the application designed to interface with the Smart4house series sensors and devices. Usage requires ownership of a compatible Smart4house device to ensure proper functionality.

• Water Leak Detector: This device serves as an early warning system against condensation, leaks, and flooding. It aims to prevent potential mold growth and property damage by alerting users before a flood occurs. The application facilitates monitoring and notifications related to water intrusion.
• Binary Sensor: The binary sensor offers straightforward status monitoring, allowing users to conveniently observe the current state of the sensor at any time.
• Temperature Sensor (S4H-TM-xx): Equipped with both internal and external probes connected via a 2-meter cable, this sensor can function as a basic temperature probe or as a thermostat with two adjustable thresholds. Temperature data is transmitted to the cloud over Wi-Fi at customizable intervals—15, 30, 60, 120, or 240 minutes. In thermostat mode, alerts are sent outside these intervals if preset temperature limits are exceeded or fallen below. The data is accessible on mobile devices as numeric values or graphical diagrams, with options to modify display modes, message frequency, and temperature thresholds. The internal probe measures from 0°C to +50°C, while the external probe’s range is from -30°C to +50°C.
• WiFi Relay: This device allows remote control of one or two independent devices with potential-free contacts. It features two relay outputs controlled via the Smart4house app on smartphones or tablets. Commands are transmitted over the cloud and Wi-Fi network (802.11b/g/n) through either an access point or your existing network infrastructure. Status updates are similarly sent back to the user device. The relay includes LED indicators for output status; outputs can be operated in on/off mode or can generate a switching pulse lasting one second. Communications are secured through encryption.

Application areas include remote control of entry gates, garage doors, outdoor lighting, heating or cooling systems, and pumps. For iOS devices running version 8 or later, an added geofencing feature allows users to control relay states based on their geographic location.
